My Solar Panel Will Not Charge 24v Battery

How do we tell if the solar panel is charging the batteries on our 2002 motorhome.

Your panel is rated at 12 volts and 5 watts. An important point to be noted here is that a 24v rating battery is not available in the market but you can create one by joining two 12v batteries in a series connection. So if you have a solar panel that with a 10 watts power rating and it is exposed to sunlight for at least 6 hours. If you did provide 24 volts to the charge controller how much voltage will it apply to the battery which is important because 24 volts is probably too much. You can get the amount of energy it will provide the battery by multiplying 10 watts by 6 hours which will give you 60 wh. For 24v trolling motor batteries it becomes even more difficult to recharge the battery pack with a solar panel.
